Absolute Whey - Vanilla
ROC608-22543369
Regular price $45.99 Save $-45.99One of the hardest goals to accomplish in your diet is consuming enough protein. First of all it can get very expensive. It seems like meat products are just getting more and more expensive! Not to mention just hard to stomach it all in one sitting 🤮. But we know that we need to get it. Afterall, it is the building blocks of muscle as well as the foundation of many things in the body. It is also a macronutrient and therefore very essential to our body.
Absolute Whey has a nice blend of concentrated whey protein and isolated whey protein. These are just different forms of the same whey protein. The difference is how it is processed from it’s raw form. This simply changes it’s macro ratios of protein:fat:carbohydrates. Concentrates are more raw and unprocessed with more carbohydrates, fats and lactose. Isolates process some of that out leaving more raw protein. We kept it natural and very concentrate, but also wanted to give you a whole lot of protein😉!
BCAA’s are short for Branch Chain Amino Acids. They are no different than regular amino acids, which are found in protein. But BCAA’s are a specific ratio of certain amino acids that have been found to have the biggest impact on muscle protein syntheisis(muscle growth). These three amino acids make up 35% of your muscle and the body does not make it on it’s own, making them ‘essential’. They also help prevent muscle breakdown or ‘catabolism’ by preserving muscle glycogen stores.
We added some protease, a digestive enzymes to help with absorption. Protease is a digestive enzyme that helps facilitate the breakdown of proteins. This is necessary for protein to be able to absorb into the body. At the end of the day if the supplements you are taking are not absorbing, then you are not getting the benefit they should be providing.
Pure Probiotics
ROC816-22543368
Regular price $27.99 Save $-27.99It's no secret that the foundation to good health is good digestion. Digestion is the most important part of the entire nutrition game. Digestion is a process of extracting nutrients from the food and supplements that we put down our throat. It is at the intestines the final step where we actually absorb all of our nutrients. You have a small and a large intestine. Without proper digestion everything you put in your body will always be less effective by not entering the body.
The large intestines are interesting in that digestion happens at that location second. The small intestines are where most of the absorption happens through villi and microvilli. This is how most of your nutrients are actually absorbed into the body. The rest being mostly waste is passed onto the large intestines for excretion.
However there is further absorption that happens in the large intestines. There is actually an entire bacteria culture inhabiting your large intestines for the purpose of digestion. These are good bacteria and they are referred to as gut flora or microbiota. They are responsible for digesting some very specific things like gluten, and are just as important to digestion as your small intestine.
Pure Probiotics contain 40 billion units of colony forming units(CFU) to help improve or balance your microbiota. With MAKTrek® Bi-Pass Technology Pure Probiotics is formulated for a higher level of absorption. MAKTrek® Bi-Pass Technology is a patented formula that helps to improve the absorption of probiotics specifically within the body. MAKTrek® works by protecting the capsule with a protective layer keeping it safe in the stomach. This is so that it isnt broken down early by digestive enzymes in the stomach or intestines.

Pure Omega-3
ROC814-22543367
Regular price $27.99 Save $-27.99Omega-3's are that beneficial essential polyunsaturated fatty acid that you never knew you needed. Omega-3 fatty acids don't always get the credit they deserve, but that may be because they are largely preventative. That means they don't fix something directly, but they are health components that may help prevent many health conditions from occuring. They are also essential, meaning the body does not produce them by itself. That means that it can only be aquired from food.
So what does omega 3 actually do? Omega 3 is a very important part of every cells membrane(outer layer) and the lack of it can affect the cells reception. In short it can affect the cells ability to recieve instructions to do work. Omega 3's are also the precursor(needed first) to produce many hormones. Hormones are one of the main communication systems with cells. This is important because many functions of the body at the cellular level can be affected.
Because of the fundamental role of omega 3 fatty acids, lacking omega 3 can affect processes including regulating blood clotting, contraction and relaxation of arteries, and inflammation.
Similar to hormones, omega 3 actually communicates with the cells as well. The communication between omega 3 and your cells are to regulate genetic functions. Omega 3 has also been shown to help prevent heart disease and stroke, may help control lupus, eczema, and rheumatoid arthritis, and may play protective roles in cancer and other conditions. It is theorized that this is due to omega 3's communication with the cells.
Foods that are high in omega 3 are fish(all types), vegetable oils, nuts (especially walnuts), flax seeds and flaxseed oil. Omega 3 comes in a few different forms, Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) you will typically find in fish/seafood. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) you can find in vegetable oils and flaxseeds.
Pure probiotics is a nice blend of EPA and DHA forms of omega 3. Our probiotics are formulated with a 2:1 EPA:DHA ratio as it has been shown to be more effective at reducing inflammatory risk factors.
Pure Creatine
ROC609-22543366
Regular price $36.99 Save $-36.99The best part of your workout isn't your first few reps, it's the last few reps. Think about it, those last few reps are what is finishing off the muscle. Even further than that, the last few sets are the most important. That is when you are most fatigued and do the most damage. Extra reps may be the difference between you needed for the results you want.
So what if you could manage to get out an extra 1-3 reps? Wouldn't that be great, almost game changing. Well now you can! Pure Creatine Monohydrate is your barebones, basic creatine. When we say pure, we mean PURE. Nothing but creatine monohydrate, no extra fluff or extra unnecessary stuff. Creatine works by converting into something called ATP, this is facilitated by an enzyme called creatine phosphokinase. ATP is the what the body actually uses for energy. The important part of this is that it is one enzyme away from energy, so it is super quick!
The body has a small storage of creatine in the form of creatine phosphate, which is creatine + phosphagen. It is actually this form in which the enzyme creatine phospokinase will work with. ATP in the body also does not have a large amount of storage. Under normal circumstances between your ATP and Creatine Phosphate stores you have about 6-10 seconds of energy. That is why when you run full speed you progressively slow down as you run through ATP and the body is unable to keep up with the energy demand. This is also why you start to get fatigued after your doing enough reps on the very first set, when lactic acid is not yet a factor. It is with loading creatine that allows you the energy for those extra few reps.
It is important to understand that creatine monohydrate is not the type of supplement with immediate effects. It is a supplement that must be 'loaded', so you have to go through what is called a loading phase. This is typically where you would increase the dosage to 20g-25g daily for 5-7 days. This is typically broke up into 4-5 5g dosages. It is imperative that you break it up in some way shape or form as anything over 10g in one sitting can lead to gastrointestinal distress(diarrhea). After the loading phase you would reduce the dose back down to 3-5g daily. Pure Creatine Monohydrate has provided 60 days worth to help accomodate the loading phase!
This is because with a typical diet you typically are running around 60%-80% full or 'saturated' in your creatine stores. So you first need to fill it, then increase it. Creatine is stored within the muscle, this space is referred to as intramuscular creatine stores. Also creatine by itself cannot work until it is bonded with phosphagen. Starting from the digestive system and being in the form of creatine monohydrate means it is not in the right form for use and not even in the right location.
